Main Responsibilities

Take ownership of the design, development, deployment, and operations of the solutions/features your squad engineers develop;
Team enablement; ensure that your team is setup to succeed. Set clear direction and expectations and proactively eliminate roadblocks;
Lead and grow Engineering squad providing guidance, mentorship and help them grow (evaluate performance, create personal development plans, track progress, and coach them along the way);
Lead sprint planning and squad velocity tracking activities to ensure that product milestones are met;
Develop and execute plans using agile development methodologies;
Collaborate with other cross-functional squads;
Discuss business solutions with stakeholders and other engineers, propose alternatives, or validate existing solutions;
Contribute to new talent hiring and ensure that employee lifecycle is fully covered (hiring, onboarding, growth, off boarding);
Closely collaborate with Product Owners to meet the tight deadlines and budget

Core Requirements

Senior developer background with exceptional technical skills in backend development
Experience with Go language strongly preferred (other backend languages considered)
Experience scaling systems and implementing robust security practices
Strong technical leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with product teams and other stakeholders
Proven track record of delivering sophisticated technical solutions
Interest in continually learning about AI technologies
Strong delivery focus and technical excellence mindset

Salary Range

6700 - 8600 eu/month
